Me! And at least one other person. Same with me - submitted before Thanksgiving and was UR2 1/6.
UR 1/3 and nothing!! Idk if it's first or second though, I haven't been too obsessed over break.
Exact same here. UR2 1/3, submitted before Thanksgiving. So today was fun...

Good luck to everyone!
Wrote a Why penn?

You also do have amazing acceptances thus far. Congratulations on those, really! As someone who was not WL'd today with an lsat below 25 also, I'm pretty sure its over for me as well.
No "Why Penn?" Probably should have. But oh well. I was never gonna go to Penn anyway so it's okay!! Thanks for the congrats.
I'm sure you'll be fine though!! I think I saw someone get accepted earlier with a below 25 lsat. So there's still a chance. Keep hope alive! Good luck with the rest of your cycle

Sorry to hear. But definitely a warn to me.
LSAT > 75
Above average.

May I ask when you went UR2?
UC2 in the the Jan.3 wave

If you wrote a Why Penn you should be fine, I literally showed no particular interest in Penn in my app and i think that what got me dinged
We are compatriots btw
Good luck with your cycle
Oh nice! :D
Good luck to you too man!

Still haven't gotten my WL e-mail. Is it possible they meant to accept me and this is a giant mistake?

Waitlisted today with a 3.6x/168. I know that plenty of people make the waitlist, but any idea whether or not this result bodes well for the strength for the non-number aspects of my application given my numbers? Thoughts?

WL this evening; UCR1 12/5, UCR2 1/3
GPA < 25 & LSAT = 75th, no Why Penn

Quite happy with a WL, considering my GPA.

Stalking last year's tweets and they released so many decisions in January......

First 2016 wave: Mon. Jan 11th. (This year, Thursday, the 12th)

2nd 2016 wave: announced Thurs. Jan 14th, occurred 15th

3rd 2016 wave: Friday, the 22nd

4th 2016 wave: announced Thurs. 28th, occurred 29th.

If I had to guess, we get another wave next week just after MLK, likely Thursday or Friday (19-20) and just RD. ED2 people won't go UR1 until the 17th (applications need be complete only by the 15th)

Finally an additional wave of ED2 and RD people on 24 or 26

Victim of the waitlist purge today as well. Gpa=75 LSAT just below median. Kind of surprised but not the end of the world lol good luck to all still being considered!

ok i'm just glad that something isn't too terribly wrong with my email. I started a blank draft when replying to the message an hour ago but deleted it, and am now paranoid that I sent something incorrectly. I shouldn't be allowed to submit anything at night anymore or I just become too paranoid.

That's hilarious (maybe?). IDK why that happens. One time I applied to a grad program, withdrew my app, and they kept sending me a rejection email every day for like a week. I found it funny but my friend who actually got rejected did not enjoy them as much.....

It gave me a good laugh when I got my 2nd email. I wonder how you screw up something like that.
Maybe I'll send my "no thanks I don't wanna ride the waitlist" email multiple times, just to see how they react 8)

I have a question, why is it that schools "offer" you a position on a waitlist as opposed to auto-moving you, I imagine it is a courtesy for those who do not want to be on a waitlist, is this correct? If that is the case, why would an applicant not elect to remain on a waitlist or in case where they had no choice, why would they immediately withdraw their applications?
