Has anyone who has been admitted and applied to Doctoroff learned whether they got into Doctoroff?

where does chi app allow one to include a DS?
there doesn't seem to be any question in online app that mentions DS. The app does allow MULTIPLE FILES to be added in the PS question, so I assume one could simply have 2 files (1 for PS, 1 for DS) for the PS question?

Ladies who have interviewed - did you rock a suit jacket or go the blouse/sweater route? I figure if I didn't have to wear a suit coat for Harvard I don't for Chicago but hey figured I'd ask.

Can't really answer your question cause I've read different perspectives on this but Chicago was the only school I didn't send a DS too and didn't seem to matter. Also heard of people that added it to the addendum section, I believe, and got in. Doubt it's a big deal.appind wrote:where does chi app allow one to include a DS?

I just wore a blouse, and for other interviews i've worn a pretty basic high-necked shirt.Anon.y.mousse. wrote:Ladies who have interviewed - did you rock a suit jacket or go the blouse/sweater route? Q: May I submit a diversity statement or “Why UChicago” essay?
A: You may, but please do so only when they are important to your application. Please remember that you want to be concise and genuine.
We believe that the personal statement is a wonderful place to discuss any aspects of your background (e.g., racial, ethnic, or religious identification, socioeconomic status, sexual orientation, etc.) that are significant to you. If you find that you cannot include these topics in your personal statement, you may submit an additional diversity statement.
If there are genuine and informed reasons why you are particularly interested in studying law at UChicago, you are welcome to discuss them in an additional essay.

I always go the blazer route but I'm sure anything in the business casual realm is fine, would go with whatever you feel most confident inAJ1010 wrote:I just wore a blouse, and for other interviews i've worn a pretty basic high-necked shirt.Anon.y.mousse. wrote:Ladies who have interviewed - did you rock a suit jacket or go the blouse/sweater route? Submitted my app on 1/7 and my status still says "received" not "complete" as of 1/23. Is it normal to take this long? All my other app's were complete within a couple days.

Thanks for the reassurance guys! it's normal; i get it. try and relax. they aren't done building their class yet and the cycle is certainly not over. just be patient in this trying time and try to enjoy your time before matriculation.Christinabruin wrote:Thanks for the reassurance guys! Per LSN, it looks like everyone who applied before November got their decisions on the 20th. I'm assuming it's their first wave for regular decisions.
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
