Congrats everyone! Starting to think my low gpa just isn't going to cut it despite my LSAT. Excited for everyone else's splitter success though!

I expect with the recent data Spivey released maybe schools are trying to fight for high LSATs first (admitting with some lower GPAs than usual) if they are going to be more rare this cycle.
Then they can fill the gaps in GPA later.

Almost. I Applied early/mid November (around 7th). I think i was UR2 on November 21, but I can't remember the UR1 (maybe 12th or so), but I was DLS on 12/1 for RD. Needless to say, I wasn't anticipating a response so soon.

I just went UR3...12/13...I have absolutely no idea how to interpret that...

Reiterating that with my numbers being above both 75ths, my having applied when applications opened, and my being UR1 since early October, I have not gone DLS. I don't think we should jump to any conclusions. There is much time left in the cycle, and I'm beginning to become convinced that applications are read in random order.

Applied mid-October, UR1 10/21, UR2 10/31. It's good to at least some movement, can't say I wouldn't prefer DLS thoughKeilz wrote:lol i was just thinking about that this morning. if you look at the what to expect thread it does exist. IN! Found out by seeing DLS on status checker and logging into Admitted Students website. Received phone call soon after.
URM
25 < LSAT < Median
25 < GPA < Median
Submitted 11/12 -- Complete 11/14 -- UR2 12/5 (forgot UR1 date, was around 11/28)

Why must NYU play with emotions like this

Pretty surprised by how quick the turn around was. Was the last application I sent in and I haven't heard a peep from any other school.

I've been waiting for more than three weeks now. Have been UR for the majority of the time.

Congrats though! That's awesome.
