I've been complete since 12/28! I'm still waiting. Vandy is a very appealing school for my career goals, however, so I'll be waiting until they tell me I can't anymore! PM for stats.

I emailed the admissions folks seeing if I could send anything to demonstrate my continued interest. They said they have received more applications than usual and I should not expect a decision for a few weeks. I went complete 2/8, so I definitely would not hold my breath for this week unless you went complete a long time ago. Best of luck to the waiters...

at this point I'd be surprised if I got a decision before class starts in august...

I would say expect movement soon since the first deposit deadline is coming up.

Been waiting since 1/8, not as long as some but 3 months seems a bit excessive, and I think I'm a competitive candidate with my numbers. I emailed them this week asking for an update since I have upcoming deadlines. They hit me with a generic response that my application hasn't been returned by the admissions committee yet and no timeline.

from what I recall, your application never shows when you are under review. It goes straight from "complete" to "decision made".[/quote]

O guess it is all just part of the business.

O guess it is all just part of the business.

I feel like "holistic" is code for "underfunded and overworked admissions office", and they use it to justify making applicants wait an incredibly long time.

I feel like you are exactly right. Hopefully they can hold it together for some more acceptances.
