Same UR2 and GPA, but 25<LSAT<50. Dying for news, but won't be surprised whatever the outcome is.

Applied in early November, UR2 Dec 16. Nothing since. No 'Why Penn' essay.

LSAT at 75th percentile, GPA > 75th percentile.

Random question maybe, but has anyone ever heard of Penn doing an admit via FedEx with no call? They keep trying to deliver a package to me which was sent from the Philly area, don't know anyone else in Philly who would have any reason to send me something fedex lol. My status checker says Under Committee Review as of the 15th. Thanks!

I think I'm in the same boat (although it could be UR2).

I really hope there's a Decision Friday this week.
And that it includes me.

Just an FYI:

For anyone who hasn't received a decision yet- I have been UR2 since 12/17, and I decided to submit a Why Penn essay late (basically after realizing they make a difference; who the hell knew?). I sent it in last night, and they did add it to my file.

So if you sent in your application without a Why Penn, you can still send one in.

I think a lot of people shoot themselves in the foot by not writing the why x school essay. Its extra work, but even a generic one helps.

I'm also curious about the impact of visiting a school. I think it makes a difference, but that is only my personal experience.

This is just a general ED question but do you think Penn Law will immediately deny admission or does the trend lean more towards pushing ED applicants to RD? I know it varies from school to school which is why I wanted to see if anyone would know what the case is for Penn.
