I don't know how much the 250 really makes or breaks an application. I wrote mine about how MacGyver is awesome.

Eh, I tried to do too much with mine. Personal but also broadly applicable. Academic but quotidian. Was trash.

Conversely, MacGuyver is indeed awesome.

Is anyone ever really happy with their 250 though? I'm skeptical.

I'd say people who get into YLS are pretty happy with their 250s.

Let's just say that I'm pretty sure I got in despite my 250 rather than because of it.

If I somehow got in I'd definitely feel that way also

I'd say acceptances tonight/tomorrow based on the timing of the admitted students preview and their tweets.

From LSN:

Acceptances: 28
Latest Complete: 2/20
Median LSAT: 174
Median GPA: 3.935

Pending: 35
Complete Range: 10/6 - 3/19
Median LSAT: 172
Median GPA: 3.9

Rejected: 59
Complete Range: 10/17 - 3/11
Median LSAT: 172
Median GPA: 3.83

Based on the pending dates, I would say that anyone complete before March that hasn't heard anything made it to FR recently or was a 10 or 11 from earlier. Of course this is all pure speculation, but it would seem to make sense to me.

Also, it looks like they've rejected multiple 177+, 3.9+ candidates so far. YLS gonna YLS.

I had a strange complete date...submitted on 2/28 and went complete a whole two weeks later on 3/14...I wonder if anyone had a similar situation given that a ton of people were probably applying on that last (at least originally last) day to apply

Yes, you're fine...I went complete 3/12, and submitted a couple days before that (original) deadline. Don't worry about it!! :)

I went complete so long ago I have started going back into my email every couple of days to just check and make sure it really happened.

I'm still not convinced that my ding didn't just get lost in a Gmail hiccup

I can see it now: including my dad in your 250 will become the cat avatar of next cycle...

CONGRATS!!

I don't think they announced this one on Twitter, which is interesting.
Could have been a one-off. There hasn't been any other activity of note...
