See, I originally thought I got lucky because I went complete in ~3 days but I guess after looking at my app they decided to lose it somewhere. :sdasani13 wrote:a long time. mine took like 3 weeksSupremeLaw wrote:How long does it take to get to complete? Guess you were right, got the acceptance email today without having to interview

Are you able to skip ahead once you're done answering during the actual LikeLive interview like you can in the test?

Accepted via email and status checker today, submitted my app around 1/5
171 and 3.5, if you are going to be offered merit aid scholarship do they tell you up front after acceptance? Does anyone think I might be offered some?
Congrats to all!

Accepted via email. No interview, LSAT > 75, GPA < 25. Submitted late December, complete mid-January, two date changes between then and now including one on last Friday.
This is my first law school admit. Feels good man.

No one has a scholarship offer with acceptance, unless you get the full ride. $$$ probably won't go out until March unfortunately. I think you have a great shot at some decent aid. Good luck!burtstei6 wrote:Accepted via email and status checker today, submitted my app around 1/5

Congrats everybody!
Submitted 1/2, most recent date change was 2/6. Anyone in the same boat who didn't get an acceptance today? I'm semi-worried about getting YP'd

Congrats! With that LSAT score I'mm guessing you are in for a good amount of aid. I'm around the same scores and I submitted around the same time. But still Complete 2 today. That doesn't bode well for me.burtstei6 wrote:Accepted via email and status checker today, submitted my app around 1/5

Interview request today after Complete 4 on 2/9. We can do it whenever we want, right? If so, I'll get it done tonight. The email claimed you get a decision within two weeks, which is awesome.

Re: Cornell c/o 18 Applicants
Traditionally does Cornell tend to match other T14 offers, especially in the bottom half (Michigan, NU, UVA)?

Re: Cornell c/o 18 Applicants
Had two questions during the interview that I didn't see on the questions list ITT:
- What makes you believe you would be successful in a close-knit community? (Or something of that nature)
- Describe a meaningful experience in your own life.
Thought it went as well as a LikeLive interview can go haha. At times I felt like Miss Teen South Carolina. I understand the desire to YP, but I feel like this is a pretty poor way of doing it. Instead of just judging my interest based on responses, wouldn't an engaging in-person interviewer answering my questions about the school serve as a better marketing technique?
The manage videos tab said the interivew was "attempted" - does this mean I submitted it correctly?

Interviews have mostly gone to people above both 75ths (i.e. potential YP candidates)NoBladesNoBows wrote:Does Cornell interview everyone?

I have similar stats to you (but even more of a splitter) and was admitted without an interview.NoBladesNoBows wrote:So it's not necessarily bad news that a heavy splitter (GPA << 25 LSAT >>> 75) hasn't received an interview request?

I've read too many horror stories about this like love interview. I got the request two weeks ago but I still don't have the courage to do it...

Your app is withdrawn if you don't do it in 3 weeks! It's just a weird format. Prepare like you would for a normal interview but with time flexibility.mr.plum wrote:I've read too many horror stories about this like love interview. At first I was surprised that a lion would lack courage, but upon closer inspection I realized you are not, in fact, a real lion. You are a housecat wearing a lion mane. You are a fraud.mr.plum wrote:I've read too many horror stories about this like love interview. I got the request two weeks ago but I still don't have the courage to do it...
edit: woah, 3 cat avatars in a row. I wonder how many Cornell students have cats.

I think a lot of people who had objectively terrible likelive interviews (myself included) have been accepted so don't worry too much. Yes, it's horrible. But it's over quickly.mr.plum wrote:I've read too many horror stories about this like love interview. I got the request two weeks ago but I still don't have the courage to do it...
