As an international, any chances of getting a job after a law degree from WUSTL? Also how is brown skin treated in Saint Louis? I ve heard Missouri is pretty racist.

Good job Jerry! It's funny calling you that because I feel like you're a girl... anyway I feel like we're similar in terms about being disappointed by the LSAT scores, so I'm happy that you got in! kindred spirit of sorts

The tshirt email finally came! I can only wear it in the privacy of my home because my work and many friends/family don't know anything about me going to law school. Still excited though!

When do accepted students hear info about a travel stipend? I just got an e-mail asking what size t-shirt I want but nothing about a stipend

Wondering about some etiquette for the t-shirt e-mail... does it reflect poorly to elect to NOT be connected with faculty, student, or alum?

Well I mean... Are you interested in the school? I can't see a reason why you wouldn't want to be able to ask some people questions idk. And idk it's not bad etiquette but I also wouldn't decline if I was waiting for money for instance.

Accepted sometime in the last couple weeks, despite a less than stellar interview. Seriously folks, don't stress.

Got an interview request. Don't want to count my chickens before they hatch since I'm very capable of still screwing up the interview and getting rejected but is WUSTL a decent option for Chicago placement? Or would I be better off sitting out this cycle and trying to get into Northwestern next cycle?

I am a paralegal at a top 5 Chi firm and would be willing to try an answer any questions about Chi prospects if you want to PM me.

You'd be better off sitting the cycle and trying to go to Northwestern. We do send something like 10% of our class to Chi most years, but Chi biglaw from here is tough. You need really good grades, and even then it's not a lock.

Just a little skeptical (top 5, PMing and not posting in forum), but I'm actually probably just jealous because Chicago market is so difficult and I gave up any hope of getting it

It was over a month after my interview when I heard. Don't stress on timing.

WUSTL is the just the last school that I've applied to thats been recently posted on, question on WUSTL and other schools...I have 25% LSAT and median GPAs..I've noticed a lot of people have heard back before even though applying after me. Could this be because my numbers are low but they want to consider as many people as possible before denying me? I have really good softs.

Yep. The auto admits will hear back quicker. It sucks, but it may still be a while for you. They will probably want to see how the class profile is shaping up, then they can decide how many fliers they can take for applicants with decent numbers but really interesting softs. That is my guess anyways, but I'm not an adcomm.

Had my interview extremely nice and easy going. Answered some major questions I had, hopefully I'll be getting an email/letter soon.
