Email. The actual offer comes as a PDF attachment.

I hope everyone had a wonderful spring break! We're heading to Kung Fu this week for bar review!

I'd definitely recommend going to bar review because at the admitted students events you'll mostly be interacting with students handpicked by admissions to make UT look awesome. You'll probably get a better feel for what it's really like here by talking to people at bar review. Sadly I'll be working on my brief and can't make it though.
Awesome, thanks for the info! I'll definitely be attending.
Will also be going to bar review! If anyone wants to meetup at ASW, I'll be the super tall guy with a backpack on Thursday who is coming straight from class. Feel free to PM me a link to your facebook if you'd like to add me so we can at least know what everyone looks like (I'm also on the admitted students fb page.
I'm def down for Kung Fu Saloon Thursday. Shit I'm also down for Friday if people want, I got nothing else to do.

Attax I'm doing the law school walking tour for Thursday and not much else. What events are you going to?

I was notified via snail mail about a week after my acceptance letter came in.

I'm also going to the walking tour and general friday events. I realized I may not be able to make bar review/I'll just show up late to it.

Have people who applied on or around the deadline received their "status checker" email yet?

I submitted 2/22, so not too long before the deadline. I received the status checker info 3/8, and it says I went complete 3/7. But nothing since then.

Thanks for the replies. Applied 3/1 and haven't received mine yet. Not too worried at this point I guess.

I'm definitely game to meet up for drinks Thursday night at bar review or wherever. I'm doing the tour of the entire campus I believe so I won't be done until a little later. I am staying in Georgetown (25 miles north of Austin), so I can volunteer as a dd, just in case, if some people want to meet up Thursday. Unfortunately I will also be leaving town right after events end on Friday. Not looking forward to making that drive again.

As of today, I got the "please send a Why UT? essay". But then an hour later I got into my top choice, so I'm probably just withdrawing.

Mid-January submission, went complete early/mid-February, and this is the first I've heard anything.

BTW, if you registered for a financial aid session and forgot your time, email admissions. They got back to me very quick.

I'm at the LS now, waiting for the walking tour. Tall guy, blue shirt, black glasses, with backpack. Feel free to come and say hi, I'm making my way to the Atrium

The professor section is so baller. Looks like nobody uses it though.

I don't know exactly, that's how my tour guide described it. Go up the elevator to the right side of the library and you'll see. The elevator has a huge legal weighing scale in front of it filled w/ coins. It's where the majority of the professors' offices are at. Really sleek and modern with nice furnishings.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
Just kidding ... it's still FREE!
