Don't worry yet. I had to wait over two months before receiving a request (I am 75th percentile+ for both LSAT and GPA).I'm sure that you'll get a request soon!

Exactly. I would give them at least into February before you worry at all. I believe interviews and decisions will be picking up around January 14/15, but a lot of those will likely be focused on applicants who RD'd when apps first opened up.

So UVA just recently became my top choice for law school but I haven't heard anything from them. I'm assuming that I'm a decent applicant because I've had a good cycle so far (for example, I was accepted at NYU).

I'm thinking about sending in a Why UVA essay and also an explanation of my LSAT scores. What do you guys think? Attach and email as a word document?

Yes, but include a short reason for the late addendum addition in the body of the email.

Sorry, in my excitement I forgot.

I applied RD in mid October. Not sure when I went complete because I ignored the UVA status checker. I interviewed last week. 177 LSAT and 3.4x

2nd week of January probably that Tuesday, but as you can see, they're already getting to applicants from the beginning of the cycle so it may be sooner.

I don't know if I consider them "incredible", but they do seem to be helping me outperform my numbers by quite a bit. I have about four years work experience in DC/federal government, and I'm also an Army Reserve officer with two deployments to Iraq/Afghanistan. Also, despite the username, I'm a white dude.
