Re: Columbia c/o 2017 Applicants (2013-2014 cycle)
Thanks, everyone! I submitted ED on 11/15. Numbers are in my profile. Regarding softs, I graduated from college over three years ago. I wouldn't consider my WE "impressive" by any means, but I do have 6 solid years of demonstrated commitment to public interest. I also submitted a DS. Please feel free to PM me (or respond on here) with any questions. I look forward to meeting all of you awesome people next year!

Sorry to hear about the deferrals
Does Columbia update online statuses to UR (similar to NYU/Chicago) or does it just remain "complete" until a decision is released (similar to Michigan)? My status just went complete about a month ago so I'm not expecting to hear back with a decision until late-January or February anyway.

Wow thanks for the info. I stopped checking my CLS checker after I went complete, but I guess I need to add it back to the list.barrelofmonkeys wrote:There is an "Application Under Review" status.jdapplicant wrote:Sorry to hear about the deferrals![]()

Congrats to the recent admits and sorry for the deferrals - however, if it makes you feel better, there were at least a couple ED -> deferred -> reserve/WL -> july admit last year so its not over till its over.

A wait like this sounds treacherous though...went through something similar for undergrad. Really messes with your mental stability!jbagelboy wrote:Congrats to the recent admits and sorry for the deferrals - however, if it makes you feel better, there were at least a couple ED -> deferred -> reserve/WL -> july admit last year so its not over till its over.

Based on last year's data, what do y'all think the likelihood is that we get some RD admits tomorrow?!

Close to zero. I don't think they came out until the very end of January last year...the 25th or 26th sticks out in my mindNYU_Ugrad_Paralegal wrote:Based on last year's data, what do y'all think the likelihood is that we get some RD admits tomorrow?!

Yep. Seeing that now I realize I didn't even bother to read the key. -_-. I have a long road of critical reading ahead of me.The-Specs wrote:That is 3rd week.NYU_Ugrad_Paralegal wrote:lastsamurai wrote:Close to zero.
