Did you request one? I got mine increased once upon request, and they said I would be considered for more later on as it becomes available. Wasn't sure if I should wait awhile and see what happens or send a second request.

Obviously there are exceptions, but plan for the worst if you're going to ride the WL - you'll lose your other deposits and they'll call you a week before school starts asking if you can make it.

Ah..I see. Yes, I was assuming that in all of this, a person would have to be okay with losing out on his deposits that he put down at other schools. But yes, I see your point.

I had a great time visiting W & M, really loved the atmosphere too-- looks like I'll most likely be going there in the fall!

I heard back after 2 days and was awarded a $5k increase-- was really pleasantly surprised. I've been very impressed with their responsiveness.

I have zero clues. I know that I'm waiting on hearing back from a couple of schools where I thought I would be a very strong candidate.
