Was at Stanford this week. I think I'm in love. Watching the Super Bowl in a bar in palo alto. This place is paradise.

Downtown Palo Alto is amazing. It's not a college town or anything, it's just really beautiful and classy and full of nice people.bernaldiaz wrote:Was at Stanford this week. I think I'm in love. Watching the Super Bowl in a bar in palo alto. This place is paradise.

So if you switch to DLS but didn't get a call it's a ding. That's rough.ManOfTheMinute wrote:Indeed... Going into the weekend I was like 90/10 Harvard, now I'd say I'm 90/10 Stanford.Yukos wrote:Downtown Palo Alto is amazing. Many times (I live in Boston) but I haven't heard the pitch from the law school yet that's why I'm holding off judgementManOfTheMinute wrote:Have you visited harvard yet?bernaldiaz wrote:Going into the weekend I was like 90/10 Harvard, now I'd say I'm 90/10 Stanford.Yukos wrote:Downtown Palo Alto is amazing. What about for international applicants? Anyone know if they e-mail for either acceptance/rejection?Audeamus wrote:

I've heard that they email you acceptances; not sure about dings... either way, the status checker would definitely update to DLSsd1234 wrote:What about for international applicants? Anyone know if they e-mail for either acceptance/rejection?Audeamus wrote:

Re: Stanford C/O 2016 Applicants Thread
I remember reading on last year thread that international applicants were sometimes called and sometimes emailed for acceptances (I guess it depend how far you are and how intense the time difference is). For dings their status were changed to DLS as well and a rejection letter came in the mail.ManOfTheMinute wrote:I've heard that they email you acceptances; not sure about dings... either way, the status checker would definitely update to DLSsd1234 wrote:What about for international applicants? I would personally wait until the first wave of rejections came out before sending a LOCI. Just to wait and see if i'm still in the game.Rory19 wrote:Is it too early to submit a LOCI? I have been under review since October.

That's what I'm hoping for. A 1/7 submit, 1/18 complete got in on 1/30 a few pages back.az21833 wrote:early jan submit calls this week?

Hey,
Mind expanding on what sold you? I'm also likely going to be choosing between SLS and HLS - I haven't actually been to Stanford yet, but will try to get to the ASW in April (and also HLS in March). PM me if you want!

Hey can I have access to this novel as well? I'm trying to figure out which would be the best fit for both myself and my wife + kid, and any anecdotes you may have could be helpful. Thanks in advance!bernaldiaz wrote:Just PM'd you a novel haharocktower3 wrote:bernaldiaz wrote:Was at Stanford this week. I think I'm in love. Watching the Super Bowl in a bar in palo alto. Wow. Just got the call. I'm in! Unreal.
Complete mid-December. Oldish applicant, above 75% LSAT on retake, weird undergrad record. (So basically, I'm not a very useful data-point. Sorry! But good luck yall!)
NOTE: Oddly enough I have not received a DLS change. Not sure if that's normal or not. Just FYI for all you status-checkers.
