Just finished my interview. It went great!!!

I saw one person said that they received an admissions packet 3 weeks after interviewing. Has anyone else been admitted (or received any decision) after interviewing? If so, what was the time frame like?

How did the interview go? Any curveballs other than Why LS/GULC?

My interviewer was very relaxed. It felt more like a conversation than an interview. So long as you can articulate why you want to go to law school and why you'd like to attend Georgetown, I wouldn't worry.

No, he asked me those two questions, then asked me point by point about each thing on my resume, and what other schools I was applying to. He also asked if I had any questions for him, and he told me about georgetown and why he liked it.

Thanks everyone! I found out at such a special hour because I don't live in America... Yes... Now I'm revealing myself if anyone reads but 167s have faith! Some people on TLS told me to not even bother because I had a much higher score in practice and I messed up on the real deal (I had to cancel and wasn't allowed to take again since I took once before.) I was going to wait out this year and try again on the LSAT and apply for 2013 but I figured I'd just apply this cycle and see what happens. I really want to go in 2012 so I put a fair amount of effort into my applications. Don't lose hope!

It was so nice. I had a handwritten note from the Dean. I screamed when I got the letter and scared some man delivering chicken nearby.

Applied 11/10 I believe, got my status checker / complete message 11/14, was just updated again to 11/22 sometime today. I feel like all my apps are starting to move at once -_-, don't know if I'm happy or a bit petrified at the idea, but I've already submitted now so I guess it's time to wait for the verdicts.

^Credited, luxxe. An EA app to Cornell, although a ship that's already sailed this cycle, could be the ticket for someone with a 167/sub-3.9, so a situation does exist in which a 'chasm' between those numbers yawns 'widely'.
