Umm, I just received my scholarship e-mail again. It is the same as my original--wording and everything. Is this their way of saying they are rejecting my negotiation request (it makes no mention of my other offer, etc.)?

I wouldn't be envious. Right now, I want to do to Penn, but there is an 75k difference in their offer and a peer schools. I would truly be heart-broken to turn Penn down based purely on a fiscal decision.

Yeah...right now based on my lack of email...there's a 67k difference between Penn and a peer school. I hate to turn down Penn for $$ but it's also hard to justify the difference.

Sorry, nope. And I haven't submitted my negotiation email yet. However, I really hope that sending the same financial aid decision email again is not Penn's response to your negotiation attempt.

I was admitted in early January but have a last name towards the end of the alphabet. My FAFSA and Needaccess forms were submitted relatively early in the cycle as well.

I just want to know dammit!

for those of you that went, what did you think of the ASW? i've never been to philadelphia before so it was interesting for me to see the city. not sure how i feel about housing prospects...

there are tons of cheap housing options in philly for 500-600ish, especially with roommates- check out the asw thread for more.

anyway, i already live here, but i loved the asw!
