Where is everyone coming from for ASW?

I'm coming from the Detroit area. Have you guys checked out the admitted class so far for 2014 on the Admitted Students page on IUB's website, seems to be a lotttt of local kids, which makes sense because they'd be more likely to commit sooner but still I was hoping for a really diverse class.

I also liked how the law school is near kirkwood and a lot of bars/places to eat/starbucks/qdoba. If it was tucked away on some other side of campus that would be bad but its in a good location imo.

According to the packet, only about 1/3rd are from in state. I'm assuming that will probably be roughly the ratio once more commitments come in throughout the month.

Not attending SLD, but I'm pretty sure I'll be there in the fall. I'm interested to see everybody thinks about IUB after meeting faculty and future classmates.

I visited the campus last weekend. Bloomington is an awesome college town. Tons of restaurants and stuff to do right by the law school. I got the impression like the faculty care a lot about the students. The director of career services said they do all they can to help get students connected with alumni from around the country, so it looks like you don't have to be stuck in indiana if you don't want to be. From what I've seen, I'm really impressed with their alumni network.

Ok, cause you're original post scared the shit out of me. I've been freaking out for the last hour thinking that you had some other info I wasn't privy to. Thank God it's just speculative.
p.s. I wasn't considering the other WL b/c he/she has a 2.4 GPA so I doubted the significance of it.

this WL doesn't seem to be a shift in IUB but rather something wrong with the applicant besides numbers

I am just a little nervous about it as well since I applied late. Though, I am above the medians. At least lsat.

No, it's cool. I think all of us 166, 3.0+ people got a little worried after we saw that guy get WL because we thought everyone was getting big money and it would be scary if that is no longer the case. I applied late too because I thought I would need a better LSAT to get in (as a result of not discovering TLS until late in the game). The February test turned out not to help at all though
