so did smu say packets have been mailed, will be mailed, we will get them this week, next week?

i know i should just call them myself, but i figure why slow them down more than they already are.

I believe some who called mentioned earlier in this thread that we would be receiving packets next week

Would it be too late to call admissions and ask to be considered for part time, as well? I wanted full time, but my application is being held, and I really, REALLY want a SMU acceptance!
I'm feeling pretty dumb for not checking both boxes on my application when I had a chance:(

I'm the one that called. She said we will receive the packets next week. She didn't say exactly when they would be mailing them, though.

It's worth a shot. They seem to be pretty relaxed about deadlines and admission procedures.

It's worth a shot. They seem to be pretty relaxed about deadlines and admission procedures.

I think I remember a few people last year that were successful in asking to be considered for the part-time program.

I hear you can waste a LOT of gas sitting in rush hour traffic. You should install a taxi meter and then let them know how much they owe you!

Would like to know this as well...

From what I remember reading the last year thread, people who asked got shot down. But never hurts to ask. Maybe shoot them an email this week, once everyone gets back to work?

I only applied for the full time program, and mine says the same, "Full/Part Time".
