According to the Dean, he interviews about 1/9th of candidates in group interviews, and then I know they also do alumni interviews, but no clue as to how many.

And UVA has been interviewing almost everyone they admit - I think the only exceptions so far have been a few VA residents.Muiraquita wrote:gamerish wrote:I tried looking through that mega thread on interviewing but a lot of the most helpful posts seem to have been edited out. I think Duke interviews everyone who wants to be considered for any sort of scholly/financial aid, but that's not til after you've been admitted.

Yeah, especially for the short Skype/phone ones. They just want to make sure you're a basic functioning human, so not like this:benwyatt wrote:They're really nothing terrible.theugg wrote:pls no @ interviews :"(
Make sure you can clearly articulate "Why law" and "Why X school" and have some non-generic questions prepared. Other than that it's really pretty straightforward.

I dunno, I didn't really talk about me at all, it was only really about UVA, and I got the sense, it was hinted, they had made the decision to accept those of us that weren't already in before the dinner started.benwyatt wrote:Maybe not in a formal sense, but I think for you to say you weren't interviewed is misleading.Generally wrote:Was not.
