Compared to UCLA, you basically need a higher GPA and excellent softs to get into Berkeley.Hattori Hanzo wrote:thalassocrat wrote:From Berkeley's own website for the class of 2012:
LSAT 25/50/75: 165/168/170
GPA 25/50/75: 3.69/3.83/3.95
I am VERY surprised that their numbers are so close to UCLA's! Expected Cal to have higher stats. Doesn't make sense considering their ranking.

Wouldn't their ranking improve if they required higher LSAT scores, which would also be justifiable by their current ranking?im_blue wrote:Compared to UCLA, you basically need a higher GPA and excellent softs to get into Berkeley.Hattori Hanzo wrote:thalassocrat wrote:From Berkeley's own website for the class of 2012:

My god I hope you guys are right. I'm above their 75th LSAT and below 25th GPA, and I really want Berkeley.managamy wrote:That trend breaks with a long-standing tradition, from everything that I've heard here and elsewhere.crackberry wrote:Yeah, you're in. Come on, Dean Tom, I'll raise your LSAT average!

I just realized that I left my cell phone at home. If calls start going out today I'm going to have a panic attack.

Today is my birthday. I'm assuming Dean Tom has been withholding my acceptance so he could surprise me. It's sweet, really.

The man of the hour. The man with the power. Too sweet to be sour. Dean Tom.
I could keep going, Dean Tom. I'll stop if you admit me (or keep going, if you'd like).

+1. Way over the 75th for LSAT, a bit lower than the 25th GPA... PLEAAASE. You know you have plenty of solid GPA's. Just a few of us LSAT-kids to balance it out...regatsrj wrote:My god I hope you guys are right. "Worldwanderer" on LSN says she got in today (half an hour ago) via phone call. High LSAT/low GPA.
