How does someone with numbers EXACTLY at NYU's medians (RD) look? (besides very nervous)

No, but I did send them both my diversity statement and my addendum, if that helps.

I just called the office and they said "I should be hearing soon"... is that what they told other people or do they actually tell people that they are at a decision?? Oh and I definitely got the mean lady haha.

Just called them too, cos I'm based in Asia and have been experiencing trouble receiving packages from Michigan recently. Anyway the lady started off kinda abrupt but was nice by the end of it. Didn't tell me what the decision was, but I knew she wouldn't do that However she did confirm that a decision was mailed a few days ago.....I'm guessing that's a good sign?

Didn't tell me what the decision was, but I knew she wouldn't do that However she did confirm that a decision was mailed a few days ago.....I'm guessing that's a good sign?

NYU doesn't have a status checker. How did you know your decision had been rendered before calling?

I hate to highjack the thread away from the positive vibes of recent acceptances...congrats to all! I sent in my app in mid-november and received an e-mail telling me that they received my app on Nov. 17. I still haven't gotten a complete e-mail. I know NY schools lag a little, but does the gap in time seem unusual? Should I call the admissions office (I haven't had overly-positive experiences in the past with the NYU admissions office...) Thanks!

I submitted 10/31, never got a complete email and still got in so I wouldn't bother them.

I asked her if NYU would be making an exception for international applicants and letting them know via e-mail. She said they wouldn't, so I asked her how I would know to keep a lookout for the decision in my mail. She said she could check and let me know if a decision has been sent, and then did just that.

Shar: So there has not been a decision.
LOP: You will hear in the mail.

No. I also didn't write an LSAT addendum for a 10 point difference... so it's pretty clear their averaging claims are false.

Complete email 11/10, nothing in the mail yet. Non-URM. I'm exactly at their medians, if they count my highest LSAT. Losing hope here
