Nice, good luck brother. One thing that might help (although I know it gets downplayed on this site, perhaps for good reason? I don't know how these things work) is the way my GPA splits; I was under 2.8 freshman year and every other semester has been much better.

Very similar, I had a 3.85 my junior, senior and 5th year (took a semester off)

Just received the WL email. So do I basically submit a LOCI as a response to this email?

I'm probably going to approach it this way:
1) send a short and sweet reply to the email letting them know that I'd like to stay on the wl
2) In Feb/March send an updated resume and try to visit the school
3) End of April/Early May send an actual LOCI (I think they start reviewing wled applicants end of May)
4) Throughout the summer, send multiple emails and updates to follow up.

Thanks for your detailed response! What do you do when you visit the school? (talk to profs, students, deans, etc.?) And do you know how/if visiting the school helps you get off the WL? This is my first WL ever and I'm trying to figure out what to do now too lol

yeah I have a fourth recommendation from my employer which I will ask her to update tomorrow and then send to them. I will then prepare a LOCI or an essay to send later. I want to reply to her email soon but wantt to wait until i'm more level headed

Accepted via phone call. Penn's one of my TOPP choices so I almost pissed in my pants haha. LSAT > 25, 50 > GPA >25, URM.

Just saw the waitlist email (came about an hour ago). LSAT>75, GPA between 25 & 50. Didn't write a Why Penn and at this point too set on Duke or Michigan to ride out the waitlist, so I'll probably be withdrawing. Best of luck to those that do ride it out and anyone else still waiting!

Also, never went UR2 - just UR1 12/5 and waitlist today.
