I think there's only been one RD admit so far, so I wouldn't worry. FWIW, I've been UR2 since 9/27.lemon-lyman wrote:Been UR1 since 10/31. Anyone else RD been UR for a long time? assuming it's not good news.

^This might be in reference to me, and I had numbers that I would have expected to lead to a PT invite that for some reason didn't, so maybe those are the only RDs that have heard backAssasindowntheavenue wrote:I think there's only been one RD admit so far, so I wouldn't worry. To the best of my knowledge, only 1 RD applicant admitted so far, who commented earlier about it. ^^^Kangaroo_Court wrote:There has only been one RD applicant admitted, or one RD wave of applicants?Assasindowntheavenue wrote:I think there's only been one RD admit so far, so I wouldn't worry. Nice. I should have said that only 2 (now including you) have been admitted for RD, and not PT. There's been a few accepted for RD but by PT. Congrats on your admission and the rest of your cycle!Kangaroo_Court wrote:Assasindowntheavenue wrote:

checking in.
Admitted through PT in 12/6, but still have not heard anything from FA/scholarship office yet. Should I be concerned? I was hoping to get a decent scholarship.

Applications for scholarship just went out recently - I'm pretty sure every admitted student can apply/interview for consideration. The apps went out 12/9 so you might have just been admitted to close to the date to get the email - maybe check spam just to be sure. Either way, if I understand correctly, you'll get to apply eventually, maybe just after the first of the year. Interviews don't start until mid-January anyway so you aren't behind on anything.ChelseaZ wrote:checking in.

Have you filled out the scholarship form? They emailed it out a few weeks ago and should start the process, though it's unlikely we'll hear back with scholarship decisions until later in January/February, I think.ChelseaZ wrote:checking in.

I mean the office is closed this week I think (?) But I was admitted 12/12 via PT and got the scholarship email the next day. I would double check your spam folders and stuff. If you were planning on applying for need based aid, you have to start filling out the CSS profile anyway which is pretty self explanatory so you could get a jump on that if need be.ChelseaZ wrote:checking in.

I'm pretty sure most offices are closed today. Probably gonna have to wait until 2017 to hear anythingazaleafire wrote:I mean the office is closed this week I think (?) Well I guess I should be concerned. Checked my email, spam and trash. Didn't find anywhere any email/form about scholarship. They said they would send it out some time during December, and that's why I have been waiting all this time..... I'm deeply troubled by this....premalone wrote:Have you filled out the scholarship form? Also, does anyone know if Mordecai scholarship invitations are sent out right after admission, or after we have submitted our scholarship form?
I'm hoping to at least have the chance to interview for Mordecai, given my stats...

Just chiming in; I applied to Duke last year and went thru the process. The form should also be on the admitted students site (https://law.duke.edu/welcome/) under the financial aid tab on the right. Timing-wise you should absolutely be fine. I got in shortly before X-mas last year and did not complete the electronic form until January.ChelseaZ wrote:Well I guess I should be concerned.
