It hasn't been working for a really long while now.
Meehhh, actually the link won't open at all... weird. :/
That said, I submitted a resume update and received a response that it would be added to my file. Assuming this means I'm not ding'd yet?
Assuming you're DEFINITELY checking the JD status page and not the LLM one, then yeah. Problems galore. I'd find something with IE and try that. It's literally the only browser that works for me. Chrome (pc), Firefox, chrome (android), and Internet (android) are all a bust for my stanford login.

I was reading the Stanford thread from last year, and if that is any predictor of what's to come, the next few weeks are going to suck. They were in silence for most of the first two weeks in March, and then a few acceptances started trickling in towards the 3rd week. But no good news at all the first two weeks from the looks of it. Ugh.

Since I have a few more data points - here is some updated info about the cycle so far:

This is based off of 42 acceptances and 22 rejections.
The range of index scores are:
Accepted:3.231 - 3.662
Accepted (non URM): 3.396 - 3.662
Rejected: 3.122- 3.552
The latest submit date to receive a rejection is 10/30.
All submitted applications (reported on lsn), so that you can compare the above statistics to the applicant pool:

* These are just the decisions that I know of - so data is very incomplete.

Re: Stanford Law School c/o 2018 Applicants (2014-2015 Cycle)
Sorry, I should have been more clear in my tables. >=50 LSAT is actually >=50 and <75. Same for all of the categories.KissMyAxe wrote:kadyevna wrote:great work fra!!! so far no one got in with a >=50 LSAT and >=25 GPA (based on lsn)? interesting
It is an interesting phenomenon (although depending on what you mean, I was accepted with an above 75th LSAT and 25-50th GPA). I'm guessing Stanford is taking the same route as UVA this year. High scoring LSATs are WAY down this year. Harvard and Yale (along with a few who would rather take Rubies/Hamiltons) are going to crush Stanford if they try to keep up on the LSAT scores. Because of that, both UVA and Stanford are trying to shore up their GPA numbers and they seem to be heavily favoring the 4.0/170s over the 3.8/175s. But then again, Stanford has always been the most GPA heavy school in the T14.
Edit: Also, I think that you are completely right. In addition, since the 25th/50th/75th numbers used to divide up the categories already account for Stanford's previous preferences for GPA and LSAT I think that they seem to be focusing on GPA even more than they have in the past. It's both a good and a bad year for splitters, depending on where we want to go.

They've always done that, their median was 170 like five years agoKissMyAxe wrote:kadyevna wrote:great work fra!!! so far no one got in with a >=50 LSAT and >=25 GPA (based on lsn)? interesting

Is anyone aware if visiting can provide a boost to your chances? I'm guessing not since YP doesn't really apply to Stanford the way it does to other schools but I'm curious if it would provide a benefit at all
