I appreciate it!calawgrl wrote:not sure, I'll e-mail them and get back to youHikkomorist wrote:Did that person mention other offers or just about how strongly they wanted to attend, despite financial concerns?calawgrl wrote:well they say they don't negotiate but they actually do. I know someone who successfully negotiated an extra $8,000 a year last cycle which brought them up to almost full tuitionnotrub14 wrote:I received my scholarship offer today in Alabama; it is Chancellor's scholarship worth $105,000. Since that is the same amount I got from Duke and the letter says Vandy doesn't negotiate, I will be withdrawing. Good luck y'all!

What does it say on your status checker if you received an offer in the mail. I saw some type of mailing may have been sent out in Feb.

Identical scholarship for me. Nearly identical stats.malibustacy wrote:Dean's Scholarship, 75,000 arrived in the mail today. Also with one-time Dean's Leadership award of 5000 dollars, so technically 80,000.

Anyone else staying at the Scarritt-Bennett and getting in on Thurday? Thinking about trying to get a group together to grab some dinner/drinks

I'm interested in if it shows up on your status checker that your scholarship was mailed out?

And yes I was planning on reading them/preparing.

Should we make a C/O 2018 thread and spare applicants the torture of hearing about schollys and ASW?

Re: Vanderbilt c/o 2018 applicants
Got my scholarship offer in Tennessee yesterday. Definitely got low balled compared to other schools. Dean's Scholarship worth $15,000 a year. Stats- 166, 3.75. I'm disappointed because Vanderbilt was definitely my top choice. Anyone know how to negotiate offers at Vandy/ if it's even worth trying? Also, is there any hope of FASFA helping me out?
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
