I went complete 1/22, went complete again 2/3, and again on 2/5. Any chance I'll be hearing from Cornell soon?

Mine have been 1/17, 1/28, and 2/6. Hoping for the interview invite next week! I'm still looking for my first T14 acceptance and would love Cornell to be my first.

Finally at Complete 4. Does the interview request typically follow quickly thereafter?

I received an interview request approximately 2-3 days after Complete 4, fwiw.

We're pretty much on the same schedule. Complete on 1/16, date changes on 1/28, 2/6, and 2/9. Do we have one more date change left or will we get a decision/interview request next?

You could also be accepted without even having to complete an interview; who knows, your next status checker update may be "congratulations" :)

Really? What's the precedent on this? I'm above both 75ths. I would think they'd want to interview me for YP purposes.

I think not getting interviewed is also affected by how far above the 75ths you are. From TLS, it seems like most people above both 75ths have had ot interview and those who didn't either were only slightly above and/or had some Cornell connection already.

Awesome, thanks! I'll expect an interview invite in the next several days then. Also, Cornell is probably less reticent to throw out interview invites since their LikeLive process is (I'm guessing) less labor-intensive than the Skype interview processes other schools use.

Agreed. It seems much less labor intensive since they only have to come up with the questions, invite folks to do it, and then watch the videos. Btw, the interview is much shorter than you might expect! Only 4 questions and at least one required me to limit my answer to 30 secs.

That doesn't sound fun, though at least it's not much time out of the day. It's weird they aren't using the interview as apart of the admissions marketing (particularly to YP candidates). Having an enjoyable face-to-face interview cultivates at least some goodwill towards a school. Conversely, a bad, impersonal experience will probably sour a person's opinion.

Mine came less than 24 hours of UR4 so you might be doing it sooner than you think! There's a questions bank somewhere easy to find ITT (PM me if you can't find it, I have it saved on a word doc somewhere). My interview was under 4 minutes -- didn't fill up 110 seconds when I was given the chance because I'd prepped 40-seconds answers for most. This actually kinda screwed me over on one question where I was given just 20 seconds :P Be flexible with your answers!

Thanks altf4! I'll check for the questions ITT and prep short/flexible answers. I can't believe they ask you to answer a question in 20 seconds. Do you mind if I ask what the question was?

Honestly I am not sure if it was 20 or 25 (not sure if they do five second increments)... I hadn't realized that we were given different time limits (as my first Q was 40 seconds as expected so I didn't pay attention to the timer when I started answering my second question, the 20-second challenge!) but as I'd prepped a 40-second answer and I was less than a third of the way through when I realized I had 6 seconds left, I think it's about right :P

The question was: What are 3 adjectives your friends would use to describe you?

Not sure if everyone's given the same time allotment for the same questions to be honest, so I'd put your answers in the 30-60 second range anyways. I don't think I was penalized (much -- we'll see when I get passed over for a scholarship or something :P) for giving a short answer.

Ah, that's an easier one to answer shortly. I was hoping it wasn't something like "Why Law" or "Why Cornell" - although I guess 20 seconds does count as a condensed elevator pitch.

TCR is probably:
"My friends know me well. They would describe me as prepared, decisive and concise."

I think I may have been involuntarily placed on hold until February LSAT scores are released :?

I've been stuck at complete 1 for weeks.

Cornell is killing me. Complete since 12/22. No movement at all. :( I know that's standard for the school but I can't help but stress about it.

How long does it take to get to complete? Submitted 1/23 and it still says verifying materials for completion.
