Wednesday is the consensus day that I get dinged, right?

Anyone have any idea how FR decisions will happen? A wave? Trickle?

The optimist in me hopes that sticking to UR right now is just a potential next step to FR, the pessimist in me thinks it's more likely a deny deemed unworthy for FR.

Has there been any acceptances since FR emails started going out (presumably to non-FR applicants)? Were all of the last round of dings right before FR, or did some come after?

I think we must. I submitted 1/11 and went UR the same day as you. I'm waiting until after this Wednesday before I get pessimistic.

Feel free to browse back through to verify my memory, but I think it went Wednesday for admits, Thursday for FR, and Friday for denials, nothing today.

And to those above, I doubt anyone is certain, but last year's thread is your best hint.

Hmm, I just checked LSN and it appears there were small waves of acceptances on 12/4, 12/11, 12/18, and then 1/8 and 1/22. They skipped the week of 1/15. I wouldn't be too surprised if they skipped this week as well, given all the action we saw last week. They cleared out a bunch of folks who were under review, and now they're tackling a new batch (us).

I hope my theory is proven wrong, though, because I'd really like to hear something today.
