last person on lsn to show movement in early december submit date. but that means nothing esp after that tweet.robot_socrates wrote:I wonder up to what complete date Yale has accepted so far. I'm late January, so I wonder if it's still safe to assume that no one has seen my app.

My reading comp sucks - what does that tweet even mean? Small trickles will continue this weekend? OR a decent wave this weekend?

I am in the same situation and am wondering the same thing.robot_socrates wrote:I wonder up to what complete date Yale has accepted so far. I'm late January, so I wonder if it's still safe to assume that no one has seen my app.
Want to friend some of the people in the FB group and ask them?
If I had to guess, I would guess it will continue in small trickles indefinitely. But yes. Asha FTW.spicyyoda17 wrote:My reading comp sucks - what does that tweet even mean? Small trickles will continue this weekend? OR a decent wave this weekend?

No offense Worm, but I nominate vzapana, who has displayed some weird clairvoyance in the Harvard thread.
Also, I remember anela getting in. I believe she went complete in January.

What information can you get from inside the fb group that you can't from the outside??Wormfather wrote:We need one of ours in so that we might have an inside source. I nominate me.
As far as I can tell, most people join the group almost immediately after acceptance because all the forms are on there, so just keep tab on the count. I think there's 4 admins, 2 current students, and 1 deferral in that group who have openly claimed themselves as such, so maybe 85ish spots are taken so far?
As for the latest complete dates, I'm not sure how becoming it is even if you are in the fb group to ask others... so TLS and LSN updates are probably your only sources for that. Although I am a little surprised at the dearth of TLS representin' out of all the admits so far though...

Maybe that has something to do with all the bitching re: Oxford commas and British spelling a few pages back.pacifica wrote:Although I am a little surprised at the dearth of TLS representin' out of all the admits so far though...

They are literally trolling TLS. It's hilarious, in a frightening sort of way.bernaldiaz wrote:YLS Twitter: Just some updates on offers. We've been making small handfuls of offers the past few weeks. We decided not to incite panic and......roil the waters of the twitterverse if we were only making 3 or 4 offers in an evening. Offers are on track compared to last year. More importantly, expect offers throughout this weekend. Time to buy that extended battery pack for your phone.

Honestly, they are trolling. Harvard has as well, but I will give them the allowance that it isn't because of TLS.Cicero76 wrote:They are literally trolling TLS. I had many hugs. But that was to balance the overwhelming snark from my mom.ManOfTheMinute wrote:I do not think you were hugged enough as a child.bosmer88 wrote:In a way, it truly is endearing that she does it.She has a sense of humor.
I wonder how many acceptances will go out? I actually think az is correct in thinking 9 might be the ballpark number. That is depressing.
Also, how was your date?

Ditto not having heard good news in about a month. Negative on dates going well. You win, MOTM.ManOfTheMinute wrote:Haha yeah, double digits would be wayyyy too extreme.
