This is extremely informative and displays the data in a very user-friendly fashion. Thanks!Regulus wrote:T14 Applicant & Admit Data from LSN: Virginia
I will try to keep updating this once a week. (Kudos to LSATSCORES2012 for creating a program that zips through LSN and pulls data that would otherwise have been very time consuming to gather.)

Thanks for the great spreadsheet! Youre crushing it as usual with the awesome posts! I am glad to see you're now able to pull LSN data more easily, partly because its less work for you and partly because it allows neurotic TLSers like me to indulge our desire for more data. Very interesting to see the current applicant medians and the implications for this years cycle.Regulus wrote:T14 Applicant & Admit Data from LSN: Virginia

Out of curiosity, have you tried/considered running school level data from last cycle to see how representative LSN is of the actual matriculating pool?

Re: UVA c/o 2016 Applicants (2012-2013 cycle)
I've also been under review since September but, looking at the current LSN graphs, I am between the accepted and waitlisted people, at least number-wise. So they probably haven't decided what to do with my application yet. Also, as someone with a low LSAT score who has already been accepted at some great schools, I like to believe there is more to an application than just the numbers. I am not trying to say you don't have a stellar application. Clearly, I don't know that. All I'm trying to say is there may be more than one reason for not having heard back yet. But if you are confident that it can't be anything but YP in your case, and you are very interested in UVA, then maybe you can write an additional essay, or request an updated transcript if you're still in school, or ask someone for an additional recommendation, or anything else to show them that you care.Anonymous4444 wrote:ive been complete since sep and its obvious to me that im totally gonna get yield protected....

I've only been complete since October but it looks that way to me too. In fact, I haven't heard from any schools in the middle of my range (Mich, UVA, Penn, Chicago, Columbia). Pretty weird.Anonymous4444 wrote:ive been complete since sep and its obvious to me that im totally gonna get yield protected....

Was NYU at the top or the bottom of your range? Just curious.Mr. Elshal wrote:I've only been complete since October but it looks that way to me too. Re: UVA c/o 2016 Applicants (2012-2013 cycle)
In terms of where I expected to get in, it was upper middle. I was confident I would get in, but I also wouldn't have been shocked if I was rejected. Top of my range was HYS, bottom was Cornell and Duke. Everything else was pretty much thrown in as the middle.BigZuck wrote:Was NYU at the top or the bottom of your range? Also, totally forgot that Columbia and Chicago didn't start RD yet. Sorry for having that brain-fart

Accepted in November, officially withdrawn today to attend elsewhere. Hopefully this opens the door for someone else -- UVA was my #2 and is a fantastic place to go to school.
Best of luck to those still waiting!
