I'm depressed about enough in this whole process. I need some outlet for optimism or I'm just going to go insane before I even start law school.hypothalamus wrote:DoorKeeper, your baseless optimism kills meDoorkeeper wrote:Same.adam1 wrote:Same. hah.cerealdan wrote:And STILL nothing here.
It seems like they're making all of the decisions today. Maybe we're borderline KS1/WL! Who knows?!

Waitlist notifications have been rolling throughout the day today, if you haven't noticed. There's some dude with a 175/4.0 who has yet to hear anything.hypothalamus wrote:...And with an empty mailbox, here goes my last hope.sharktankdean wrote:just waitlisted

Nov. submit, Jan. hold. Still can't think of a reason why I haven't been waitlisted yet.
Just an idea...but those that haven't heard back...is there something in your backgrounds that might make you special? Perhaps they're filing in some last minute "diversity" seats and we're going to get KB1s in a few minutes.

I'm a pretty standard applicant -- the only semi-diverse thing I can think if is my undergrad school. I am certain there is no one else from my school they are considering.

Same actually. They're probably busy googling our UGs.MobyDick wrote:GoodFood wrote:Nov. submit, Jan. hold. Still can't think of a reason why I haven't been waitlisted yet.

They're probably leafing through the pile of 300 applications still standing from my UG....

+1, actually. Though this could also be a drawback...adam1 wrote:Same actually. They're probably busy googling our UGs.MobyDick wrote:GoodFood wrote:Nov. submit, Jan. hold. Still can't think of a reason why I haven't been waitlisted yet.

Interesting. Same here. (And I know I'm the only one from my school they're considering as a fact).adam1 wrote:Same actually. They're probably busy googling our UGs.MobyDick wrote:GoodFood wrote:Nov. submit, Jan. hold. Still can't think of a reason why I haven't been waitlisted yet.

Some people waiting to hear back are from Ivy UGs, so I don't think there's a trend here...GoodFood wrote:Interesting. Same here. Probably the complete opposite for me. Decent numbers (173/3.97) but basically nothing that would come close to standing out against the other solid number people left. White, middle class male, K-JD, mediocre undergrad and business major.GoodFood wrote:Nov. submit, Jan. hold. Still can't think of a reason why I haven't been waitlisted yet.

Just waitlist me already Harvard so I can go find a nice apartment in Chicago.

I just want to put it out there that I can do the splits and speak in a Cold War accent. In case there are any male members of the AdComm and in case the ding email isn't already on its way to my gmail...
