Disagree. 1/3 was my first update. I think you're placing a LOT of emphasis on the assumption that date groups mean something. 1/3 was the first day back after the break, it makes sense for a lot of people to update that day.

I don't think any one particular date means anything. For example, a boatload of people got an updat from Cornell on 12/19 that were rejections, deferrals, and acceptances

I'm definantly placing an enormous amount of emphasis on date groupings. I was under the impression that they were significant, hopefully BU follows suit with places like Cornell.
