I'm not sure if it's too late, but when I visited I stayed at the Country Inn and Suites in Williamsburg. It was only about 5 minutes or so from the school and I got the room on hotwire.com for about $40/night. It also has an indoor hot tub and an indoor heated pool. The rooms were clean and nice, and the staff was very friendly. I would highly recommend them for anyone who is going to visit William and Mary.

So do only accepted students hear back by April 1? I mean, if you don't hear back before then, are you basically screwed?

OK -- Application went complete 12/19; Status Date Changed to 1/18/12; Status Date Changed to 2/14/12...

Still no email, no letter, no changes in the "mailings" on my status checker. So they've reviewed,re-reviewed and re-re-reviewed my app, but no decision yet? :| :? :x :evil:

why won't they just go ahead and reject me

I assume I'm screwed since I've been sitting at 12/7. Too bad. W&M was a top choice for me but now I'm just waiting for my March 15 waitlist/ding, I guess.

My file went complete way back in december from status check, but received an email yesterday telling me my application is complete...anyone can tell what this means?
