What's the RD timeframe look like? Submitted like 11/3ish

I applied on 9/3 +/- one day and haven't heard anything. Expecting a WL at this point. Such is life.

Given your numbers I doubt a waitlist. I think you'd be in.

Thought so too, but that was before I took a look at LSN and heard all this talk about UVA's tendency toward YP. I didn't write a Why UVA or do much other than submit a standard application. I know that a few people have gotten in without a Why essay, but I figured that I would have heard at this point if I were going to be included in that group.

Your numbers are similar to mine, and I got accepted without a Why UVA. I wouldn't worry too much about YP. I was worried too because SO many people got accepted before me and I hadn't heard anything.

Just a quick dose of reality: nearly everyone who's posted in the last page or two has wonderful numbers. If UVA doesn't happen for us, surely at least one T6 will bite!

Agreed, and I expect this cycle to bring great things. I'm not overly concerned about the UVA situation currently.

Checking in here as well. My app went complete since 9/23, no Why UVA essay. Still waiting.

I submitted end of October without a Why UVA essay. I wrote a bangarang essay for Penn, and with a little tweaking it could be made to suit UVA. Should I do it? Does UVA accept supplemental materials after the fact? My numbers are right in the sweet spot for UVA (according to the much esteemed LSP), for what it's worth.

Did you guys apply ED? Sorry to hear about WLs, both of you look like UVA material for sure! I am sure once the cycle keeps going and people start withdrawing you guys will hear some good news!!

I received my acceptance packet in the mail today (11/16) with no mention of a scholarship. The letter did state that I would be receiving additional emails in the next few weeks. If someone receives a scholarship do they find out in the acceptance letter or in the follow-on emails? Just wondering.

Yeah I think it was mentioned earlier...It is standard. Mine is like that too.

Seriously would it kill you to look back... it's on the top of the page, it says your application is complete or whatever. That's all the info you get.

Ehh... idk about that, especially not with numbers like that. I went complete 9/26 and have heard nothing since, but it seems to me like they are focusing heavy on PT applicants right now, with very, very few RD acceptances. I keep telling myself the RD will come later...
