I'd been complete since 10/19 (RD) and just went UR today if it makes you feel any better

You know what...it really does

At least I am in good company

lol this is awesome. I suppose
retaking the lsat and applying early would also fall under this category
I know I was tempted, but didn't want schools to hold off on my application until December LSAT scores came in. I figured having them in and being looked at sooner outweighed the potential benefit of 4 or 5 points (my PTs were consistently in the mid 170s, so I underperformed with my 170).
If only I could have kept the letters G and J straight, I would have had a 171.
haha Yeah I can understand why you would be tempted, since people cram the retake advice down your throat on TLS. Like on the 'what are my chances' thread... I mean the point of the thread is to ask what your chances are, not saying, "oh if you retake and get a 175 you will have a better chance."

Haha yeah, along with ED'ing to UVA/Northwestern.
Also seeing all these early RD completes has made me abandon any hope of going under review before christmas, I guess it's kind of relaxing at least...

I feel really ridiculous saying this but one of my facebook friends who I am not actually really friends with (an old classmate) apparently got into Penn Law today. That is literally all I know about the situation but it does appear that he was accepted today.

Seems they sent out the 2nd round of ED decisions today then. I guess they'll finish them tomorrow if they didn't already finish today.

Wow, I'm amazed I didn't get a fall grades request then (I hadn't seen many/any of them on LSN so I figured they just did phone calls instead of fall grade requests). Makes me wonder even more why they wanted to interview me, though if I had to guess I'd say because my LOR's weren't good and I haven't been hugely involved with clubs and activities and whatnot so they wanted to get a better idea of who I am. Good luck, btw!

Were you originally ED and then they put you on hold (with a fall grade request)?

This is part of the email I received.
"The Admissions Committee has completed its preliminary review of your application and has requested a copy of your Fall 2011 grades. Because your file is being held for further review, your application will no longer be considered binding under the Early Decision agreement."
hope this answers your question. I'm hoping its a little different then hold in that they specifically want grades but I'm not too sure how to take it.

I wish, but I think they'll start next week. Unless the adcomms aren't working at all next week, in which case maybe today or tomorrow.

Dean Post told me yesterday that the adcomm is meeting today, but that I'd probably hear early next week, so make of that what you will. I guess that means they'll be meeting next week too, unless they plan to make decisions on a lot of people today and then just inform them next week. Who knows.
