Last year there was one EDer who got the random friday update after the wednesday one. I think he/she had borderline numbers similar to yours as well. He/she ended up getting the call on monday, so don't give up yet.

Well, seeing that we have one data point to look at, I don't think its possible to draw any conclusions. I am hoping for the best and prepared for the worst.

I'd say any update that anyone's gotten since the initial "Under Review" is probably meaningless. It seems as if everyone got the 12/14, even some (if not all) RDers. But we only have one guy (here, at least) who's been updated to 12/16, and his numbers aren't better or worse than the rest of us ED folks. Bottom line: don't freak out until you do/don't get a call on the day they happen.
