I still don't have a decision mailed status update, but I got in yesterday. A fedEx box showed up around 5. 170/3.73.

Here's what I'm choosing to believe. And yes, I've sort-of got my hopes up. Our numbers definitely aren't auto-reject. So it's doubtful that they took one look at us and said "no way!". So quick turnaround likely doesn't mean rejection. Also, I doubt that there's a quick turnaround time for waitlists (is there such a thing as an auto-waitlist applicant?). Thus, we must be admits!

I choose to accept this line of reasoning. But if there is such a thing as an "auto-waitlist applicant"...I'm it I think.

My status checker is now showing a decision mailed date of 2/2... I knew my rejection was coming, nut it still makes me nervous as hell

I feel like this'll be the week for me. I'm super nervous to hear from them. People with similar numbers have either been WLed or in with $$ so I have no idea what to expect.

same thing as some users above: application in 1/18 and heavy fedex box on my doorstep on 2/4. Didn't expect such a quick turn-around but it's a nice surprise.

Ugh... I just want some kind of decision

I can't ride out all of my decisions. I have to move out on May 15 and I need to have a place to move TO, so I can't just wait all summer. And Vandy is one of the only ones left to hear back from that might actually change my mind.

Thanks rbarcelo! I'm praying that it has something to do with all of the winter storms or it's USPS, but I really don't want to get my hopes up. And, yes, I will do anything to go to Vandy!

We have the same decision mailed date. I'm thinking that's bad news for you since I didn't interview lol.
