Same. Real smooth, BC.snapdragon wrote:Haha, just got an email about applying for financial aid... almost a month after my rejection. Thanks, BC!
Edit: Did you update your transcript? I figured that's what trigged their automated message about financial aid.

Anyone else confused by this:
All students are considered for merit scholarships based on the information in their application for admission, and no further action is required. Decisions are made on a rolling basis beginning in March.
I just checked by BC admission packet and it says they will start announcing merit based scholarships in January.

Guys, please wait until tomorrow to check Mailings, especially if you went DR late today.

So, I've been UR since 11/29. Is it still the consensus that decision dates correspond to when you went under review and that I have a few more weeks of waiting, or could I hear anytime now? BC is one of my top choices and I currently live in Boston. I have strong(ish) numbers for BC (170, 3.55), but I was just waitlisted at GW, so I'm not feeling too secure now. Really just want to hear from BU/BC/Cornell, already got into GULC, and those 4 are my top schools.

I was UR 11/16/10. So I imagine you will be hearing something shortly.bigwillie wrote:So, I've been UR since 11/29. Oh right, didn't realise there can be delays between DR and something under mailings. Fingers crossed for tomorrow then!Gemini Hopeful wrote:Guys, please wait until tomorrow to check Mailings, especially if you went DR late today.
My app went under review 11/19, so if decisions come based mainly on review dates you won't have too long to waitbigwillie wrote:So, I've been UR since 11/29. Re: Boston College Applicants Thread
Decisions are NOT based on review dates. I can say this with relative certainty.
I find BC to be one of the most unpredictable schools I've come across in my 2 cycles.
