+1
I submitted two days later, and they don't even have my report.

Nope, I meant January. Submitted on January 4th, went complete on 01/11, and admit packet mailed out on 01/12. Not sure why my turn around was so fast in particular! Good luck to everyone still waiting!
okay, i quit
not checking the status checker anymore for w&m....they can send me an email, snail mail, whatever
don't know why but am just irrationally annoyed with w&m

I'm frustrated that my file is incomplete at schools I applied to on the same day as ones where I'm now under review. But really really want W&M so hopeful that file goes complete in a week (tomorrow) like JenBunny's!

My application went complete on January 11th and then my status checker says Congratulations! Admit Packet Mailed on the 12th. I assume this means I was accepted?? I'm just a bit shocked because of the almost instant turn around.. Does anyone know if they mail scholarship offers with the admissions packet?

Perhaps we get split up into two piles, and what with the cold weather our pile is moving more slowly due to colds and flu?
Trying to be positive about this...

I thought about writing an LOCI. Is that weird to do since I haven't been WLed or notified of anything yet?

I don't even remember a Why W&M possibility, but I did the optional essay. It just wasn't about W&M.

I know, I've been since early Nov. I'm assuming since I've missed 2 batches of acceptance that I'm in borderline territory at best. I just didn't know if it would be viewed as odd to send in a LOCI at this point.

I feel like it wouldn't hurt to update them if anything significant has happened since you applied. I got a fantastic GPA this semester, so I'm sending LOCIs to schools that I applied to back in Nov that I haven't heard from yet to let them know to expect an updated transcript, while also sucking up a little bit.

i wrote an LOCI for two schools that I hadn't heard back from....maybe others will disagree but i didn't think it would hurt. and more importantly, i wanted them to know that yea i was doing cool legal work at my job and also really wanted to go to their school before i was out of a chance to.

Alas, have not invented a time machine so that I could re-do college and raise my GPA, so no, nothing of significance.
Where do you send a LOCI? Just the Admissions Office, or what?

That's what I'm planning on doing.

A lot of people who have offers right now are going to withdraw, especially the really solid numbers people, and that is going to open up spots to the rest of us... I would just chill, or at least that's what I'm planning.

Yep. Didn't get much though. I was more interested in finding out about the various institutes. I applied for the Bill of Rights deal. Do you know if that should be part of the packages or do we find out later?
