When do status checkers generally go out? Seems to not be much activity for those of us still waiting on our checkers.

Hardly. Just pointing out that my LSAT is weak, and yet I'm in at Michigan.Chants wrote:dj666 wrote:My numbers are in my profile (167/3.89), and they're real. Don't let the low LSAT fool you, though -- my background is distinct and non-traditional.

You are in the middle 50, I wouldn't call that "weak", just "average".dj666 wrote:Hardly. According to the Michigan Law site, it's actually just shy of their middle 50 for last year's entering class. More to the point, it appears to be well short of the standard set by other recent admits. But you're right, "weak" is just me being insecure. I'm much better at being average.r6_philly wrote:You are in the middle 50, I wouldn't call that "weak", just "average".dj666 wrote:

I grew up in Columbus, and therefore hating Michigan. Fast forward a few years, and UM is one of my top choices. I don't think I could root for them against the Buckeyes though.dulcatis wrote:thereelshaq wrote:In via the admitted students website! ...I'm going to have to work on being subtle about my Buckeye loyalties if I end up at MichBut this weekend at the game I'm still in the clear <3
I've also lived for awhile in Kentucky, and grew into quite a UK basketball fan. My first acceptance of the cycle was at Duke (who you're required to hate as a UK fan). This whole law school thing is really testing my loyalties

Will be continuing to root for Northwestern, out of family loyalties and the fact that rooting against a school I've applied to will earn me a smiting from the law school gods.forward21 wrote:TITCR.yoitsmebenny wrote:Guys, please continue to root for Ohio State (regardless of loyalties)...Wisconsin needs them to win right now.

Re: Michigan 2011
Your GPA is still above 75, and looks like they are trying to up that too. The LSAT this year may be weaker than last year based on the number of takers, so you may be back in the 50, like CO 12 or 11. They can always improve on GPAs because that is easier to control (more available).dj666 wrote:According to the Michigan Law site, it's actually just shy of their middle 50 for last year's entering class. So I went complete on 10/26 and applied in mid September. Should I assume that I've been wait-listed or I am being overly pessimistic?

Yep sure was. Michigan was driving me nuts this past couple weeks. Now I can relax a little since I know I am not getting any more decisions for at least a week.Tanicius wrote:Lmao, that's gotta be a pleasant surprise.dabbadon8 wrote:Got into the Admitted students site! I know the feeling, I applied the first day the app came out, so this has been a very anxious wait since so many other people were getting in.Trustbuster wrote:*taps foot impatiently
