Re: George Mason 2010
No call today, but hoping to hear more tomorrow. I have a last name that comes late in the alphabet so I am deluding myself with all kind of reasoning as to why I did not receive a call today.
Gotta love the acceptance cycle.

"Your application is complete.
Please continue to monitor your application status on-line as we do not provide information regarding application decisions or status in response to phone inquiries."
This is what's on my status checker right now....was that always there, or did that just show up yesterday like the one about getting something in the mail in 2-4 weeks? I can't remember.

In! 9:00 phone call. Extremely nice admissions lady who apologized for not calling yesterday but explained that it was because my name came so late in the alphabet.
+1 for "reasons why I haven't been accepted yet" actually being true.

I'm pretty excited about this acceptance. Anyone else got a similar positive feeling at GMU 2013?

Re: George Mason 2010
When i visit and find out more about this this may say everything - it is my #1 interest, and they are reputed as one of the top programs - but I want to find out how involved students can really be in the program, do we get to do things that relate to GMU's profs regular sort of dealings with Capitol Hill, etc. If it's for real that as a student you can be a part of the economics/law discussions, etc. going on, this may become solid top choice.H. In via very friendly phone call last week.
LSAT below 25th, GPA above 75th. Non-urm.
For those still waiting, definitely keep up hope. The admissions folks seem to be very nice, and in my experience so far have been committed to a full review of the application. Good luck to everyone!
