one option (which might help if you have to fly to nyc) is to do columbia wed, split and do columbia in the morning and nyu in the afternoon (or some combination) thursday and then nyu friday. not ideal, but better than not seeing one of them.
or i can try to switch to the march 25-26 asw at nyu. i live in the city. would you consider doing this?
Columbia's asws are March 3-4 or April 7-8
I live in Manhattan so I'm considering that. I'm also just incredibly lazy right now and don't have the energy to contact nyu to change it. haha
does anyone know if march 25-26 conflicts with any other schools?
March 25-26th conflicts with the UPenn's ASW

congrats to everyone- i just looked at the chart on LSN, and i'm feeling super lucky to be in.
there's obviously a lot of columbia love on this thread, including a few people who say it's their first choice. i'm curious: why? just because it is especially strong in the area you want to work in, or something more broad?
columbia over harvard? over nyu?
(ahhhhhhhhhh thinking about this is *way* more interesting than doing my job...)

i'm really happy to be joining this thread, too. i live practically exactly between columbia and nyu, and i'm going to stay in this apt if i go to one of these schools.
pathetically, i haven't actually visited either of them yet, heh

+1, from the current lone 169 (according to the LSN graph)...
I'm abroad and won't get a chance to visit, so everyone, please post meticulously detailed thoughts/impressions if you get to check it out!

I am joining this thread. Definitely my top choice barring a huge differential in grant money between Colmbia and NYU/Penn/Chicago. So excited!!!!!!

What is the name of this group? I can't click the link because my work blocks facebook. and every other worthwhile site, save sporcle and TLS. If they decide to block those I'll probably just quit.

Really hoping for an admit but my question is a little off topic, so I apologize. Looking at LSN data from last year it appears that those applicants complete by 12/15 would have heard by now if they were going to be admitted without first being wait-listed. Does anyone have any information contradicting this observation? If I should post this question elsewhere, please advise.
Thanks

I'm pretty thrilled to be joining this thread. My letter was dated 1/26, so there's definitely a new round of acceptances coming for those of us that applied later.

Just in today, with a Hamilton. It really cheered me up about the overall strength of my application, since the last thing I heard from any law school was the pseudo-hold email from Michigan.
Does anyone know how many Hamiltons and Butlers they offer per year?
