does the status checker change to tell you when your decision was mailed? I know it was made already, but I'm just curious as to if they put it in the mailbox or not?

No. The status checker will stay at "Decision Made" and we all just have to wait it out. Good luck

So I went complete the day before yesterday. How long does it usually take them to make a decision?

how many days is a few?fulkersonr1 wrote:Received acceptance today with 4k community service scholly. Just took a few days to get the letter after status checker said decision mailed.
I know people who had a decision made 12/23 only had their letters sent out on monday 1/4. My decision was made that day. I called to ask if they had actually mailed the 1/4 decisions out yet and the admissions office wouldn't tell me. I didn't want to make myself any more of a pain in the ass than I already was so I just didn't press the issue.

I was accepted a few days ago. Went complete in mid December. I love how quickly they responded. I wish everyone was as quick as them. My numbers were above their 75th and I'm a URM, though, so that probably expedited the decision process for me.

well you are lucky that they were fast for you. I'm still waiting for my decision. It was only mailed 4-5 days ago, but mail from anywhere in chicago never takes more than 2 days no matter how it was sent. perhaps the huge amounts of snow that have hammered the area around lake michigan has slowed the mail. i know i'm just impatient, but i really want to just have a final decision.

Re: Loyola Chicago 2010
decision made 1/8. i seem to be the only 1/8 decision here lol.... not sure what that all means... i did apply PT though... what are everyones thoughts on whether or not the PT program will be less strict to get into this year? for the PT program, based on last years #'s, i am 75% LSAT and just below the GPA for 25%

For those who were accepted did it take the 10-14 days for the letter to be mailed?

Re: Loyola Chicago 2010
went complete yesterday, with the email stating that I will have a decision by Feb 15. Not a bad turnaround, but im of course hoping for quicker. if i decide to stay in chicago, loyola is my first choice (assuming they give me some $).

My letter was sent last Monday and I got it last Friday. Only a few days to get to Boston. Lived in Chicago for 10 years before moving here so I am excited to have the option to go back!GoodToBeTheKing wrote:For those who were accepted did it take the 10-14 days for the letter to be mailed?

Re: Loyola Chicago 2010
waitlisted. Like I said before, I am happy with this. I applied to the PT day program, but I am worried my chances are slimmer at the day program because they accept 10-15 students into the day and 75 into the evening. Do you think I should call to say I am very excited about the chance to attend, and if it makes my chances better, can I switch from PT Day to PT Evening?
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
