congrats, but with your numbers don't you have plans to go somewhere much higher ranked? not being snobby, just interested in how others are making their decisions this year ITE. They're giving you a fantastic scholly, will that sway you from a T14?

With those #s I'd expect she'll get $$$ from USC, maybe also UCLA.

I want to go to school in LA, and I don't care that much about rankings, so that's why I'm considering Loyola. If they gave me comparable scholarships, I'd probably choose USC or UCLA first, but it'll have to come down to budget in the end, so I'm excited for this scholly.

I guess - I'm starting to worry because so much money is being given out early - I figure we'll get in, but will the $$ be there... and are they doing the ones they want to give $$$ to first (as it seems) and then the others won't be getting any...

It could also be that they are just deciding how much to give us =) They could just be working themselves down the applications from highest numbers who are super auto admits

Could be something - there is a 161/3.2 already accepted, but without $$ it looks like, and a 163/3.3 with small $$, but other than that it's GPA's above 3.57 with 161-165 LSATs (perfect high end types in terms of who would actually attend Loyola), and then they jump to over 170 LSATS (at least according to LSN). So for now maybe 166-169 LSATs are being ignored

I'm a retaker yet I think if that were the case they would have either waitlisted us already or just accepted without money. I think they just have lots to do at the moment so dealing with the ones they are super interested in right away

I'm not sure about this. I was accepted and I took the LSAT twice and did worse the second time around. But then again, my score wasn't too great in the first place.
