U of MN is my top choice so I applied ED. My numbers, however, are both below the median (but above 25th percentile) so i'm wicked nervous about my chances.

Same as above poster, I pretty stare at my phone sending silent (and sometimes not silent) "call from U of MN adcomm" demands...

It normally works for me.

...but its always been work and not a school.

My numbers must be just the same as yours, Slimpee...both right around 30th percentiles. I am hoping applying ED will give me that little extra push! And you too! Waiting for the 612-number to ring...

I hear you all. I didn't apply ED because I've been to Minneapolis for a grand total of 45 minutes while traveling. But I like winter, I think the school has a great reputation, and it seems like a good fit for me. But all of that comes from internet research. I look forward to visiting, so long as they haven't rejected me by February.Too bad they don't seem to give a lot of merit money and the fact that I will likely be rejected.

I'm glad I'm not the only one freaking out! I have been in review since 11/10/09 and thought the 2 week wait was bad. I hope someone hears something soon! In the meantime, I guess we can all impatiently vent here!

No, I applied ED to Michigan. (Probably a waste of an ED, but its my dream school. Minnesota is my #2 though!)

My status checker finally changed to today's date (still "In Review"...when it started happening to people a week ago but not to me, I was a little scared.

Of course, it turns out those people didn't get decisions the next day or anything, so we're all just caught up in the next purgatorial state. Blah indeed.

I posted this on the UVA board a while back as my guess as to what the Under Review updates mean.

I thought there would be some movement today but I haven't heard anything. Guess it'll go right down to the Dec. 1 deadline.

Maybe MN has decided they're going to take a year off from teaching 1Ls...

Today's mail included a booklet for prospective students from the U of M -- anyone else get it? I've been eagerly awaiting news from MN, but not another ad for prospective students! Let's hope decisions start coming next week!
