Out of state. Figured being early enough would help offset that, but I guess not. C'mon UVA...love me as much as I love you.

Just got off the phone with Dean Dugas offering my an acceptance! Seemed like a really friendly guy, mentioned my personal statement and got me really excited about coming there!

Applied 10/3, stats on LSN.

Edit: Typos. My hands were still shaking.

Congrats! Why dont they love me?!

Don't worry, I felt the same way with all these trickling RD admits. The whole system kind of breeds neuroticism. The email from Dean Dugas completely blindsided me, so it will probably come when you least expect it!

Very much so, it was my dream undergrad and both of my parents went there. I love Charlottesville, but one of the only drawbacks to UVA for me is that I would love to go to LS in a city just to have the experience for three years. If UVA was in DC, I would have applied ED (but then, I guess it wouldn't be UVA anymore would it

)

It also warrants mentioning in this thread that I just looked at my status checker and it's absolutely no different (Still Complete Pending Review/Decision). So don't waste your time looking at it ten times a day, you'll probably be notified before it even changes. Other admits can confirm or deny this for me

Just got off the phone with a UVA 04' alumni. Made me completely feel better about taking on the debt if I get accepted. Wasn't even top of the class, but now earns 200K!
