Hey folks! Applied EA as well (10/26). Hoping applying early and my additional work experience puts me over the edge--as last year I got put on reserve, then summer wait list, but no offer of admission. Anyway, good luck everyone!

What are you numbers - I'm curious about if schools complete certain number ranges first and leave others to sit - or maybe yours is just an off case or something is missing.

My suggestion is to chill a bit. The admissions office at Cornell is a small one, and just think that every time you call, you're just adding that much more to their work load (and believe me, they work especially hard.) That doesn't mean that you shouldn't keep an eye on your ap - but don't let it run your life.

And, yes, it's easy for me to say, as I'm done now. But even with every possible screw up in my application process last year, I still managed to make it to Ithaca.

165/2.83 (URM=NDN), advanced degrees, published, lots o' softs, non-trad, hence you can't expect that my stats will be an indicator, other than the fact Cornell really, really likes unusual applicants. I also was accepted into other t14s, but Cornell was generous and Ithaca a good place for my family.

Bit the bullet, called Cornell asking if I was missing any documents and the nice lady in admissions said they had everything and would complete my file today.

hey, this is more of a cornell admissions question, but if anyone knows the answer, it'd be super helpful.

i submitted my app on 10/30 and 11/02, my LSAC report was sent with 2 LoR's. I've got a third one that has yet to show up on my account, and because i'm starting to get a bit anxious about the EA deadline, i was wondering if anyone knew whether cornell considers an app "complete" when the minimum # of letters arrive or when all letters are received.

Went EA Complete sometime between 8 am pacific time and 2 minutes ago. Applied 10/28.

It's possible that I'm just awesome.

You're probably fine and it was just the applicants getting sorted randomly. But if you aren't complete by mid next week I'd definitely call. EA Complete deadline is a week and a half away.

That's awful! Admissions committees should use words such as "Congratulations" and "Delighted" with the utmost caution
