Re: Indiana University- Indianapolis 2010
I applied a month ago, but it was on hold until the other day because I was short a LOR. So now the waiting game begins. When an application is held for being a LOR short, do they still look at the other stuff in it and make somewhat of an opinion on you or does it sit there cold?
My numbers are 160 and 3.2 at IUB Kelley School of Business. I'm hopeful that I'll get in, though I hope I haven't shot myself in the foot too badly by waiting late. This is really the only school I want to go to. If I get in, I'm accepting immediately.
Good luck to everyone still waiting.

So people who were complete 2/5 is getting a decision? I have been complete since 12/2 and haven't heard a thing. I applied to the full-time and part-time program. I wonder if that has something to do with them waiting on me.

I've been complete since 01/07. Mine still shows "File Complete." I also applied both full-time and part-time as well. Good luck to all.

I dont know what is going on. But to take 3 months to read over an app is absurd. 4/1 is approaching fast and I need to know what my status is at this school. This is highly unprofessional.

+1. I agree wholeheartedly. They need to be more sensitive to the whole seat deposit thing. I don't want to be sending in seat deposits to lesser schools only to have them give me a nice offer. Fuck Marquette, IUB, and Case Western too, the inconsiderate bastards (WL, WL, Hold, respectively).tweettweet wrote:I dont know what is going on. My status is still "Hold for LOR." My letters arrived a week a week ago today so hopefully that changes soon.
When a school holds your app for being an LOR short, do they still look over your application and make somewhat of an opinion/decision on you or do they not look at it at all until it's complete?

My application has been complete since 1/25, and I have heard nothing. =( IUPUI is my top choice and I'm getting so anxious!
Has anyone applied around the same time and received a response?

at least I'm not alone! I've been sitting at file complete since 1/8, and no communication whatsoever.tweettweet wrote:So people who were complete 2/5 is getting a decision? My status said "In review" on 2/26 and has now changed to "In review" 3/8. Does anyone know if this is a bad sign?

Mine did that, and I received my email decision 5 days later. I think it means they are really looking at it this time.
Good luck!

Visited the school yesterday (drove 6 hours from Detroit). Campus is awesome, people are awesome, Indy is awesome... just a great experience. Everyone was really helpful and dropped what they were doing to talk to me about attending. Very welcoming.

Is the admissions office stuck in a time warp? I have been stuck as complete forever. I hope I hear from them soon, as seat deposits are coming due.
