This thread makes me feel comfy. And at home.
Any other reverse-splitter-PLUS-pushing-30 people out there?

It can be done.
Congrats and/or good luck to everyone!
Some solid softs, but nothing overly earth-shattering. Summer and PT work experience, grew up in French village in Canada (so bilingual), and a couple extracurriculars. But overall with a well thought out application and a bit of strategy the T14 definitely is not out of reach for reverse-splitters.

Probably too early to tell.. but wondering if any reverse splitters got into Top 5? Is it even possible to break into the holy trinity if you're a reverse splitter and NOT URM?

what it do fellow half-assers!?
if you think about it logically, if some of us manage a t10 school, then we effectively achieved something with 1/2 the work of others!
.....right!?

haha i'm pretty sure you meant to put this in the "splitters" thread... this thread is for people with high GPAs & low LSATs (i.e. "reverse" splitters) who did alllll the work in undergrad!

Applied to a bunch of schools in the Northeast. Lots of complete applications but not really any decisions. Anxiety-ridden state of limbo!
BTW, congratuations to the folks accepted at Michigan and UVA! That's amazing. Glad that your four years of hard labor in undergrad paid off! Pray the same happens to me!

158, 3.89.
I'm aiming for UC Hastings (LEOP), UC Davis and Santa Clara. I don't think I'll have a chance at either of the UCs, but I'm crossing my fingers for SCU.

A 3.9/165-168 does not qualify one as a reverse-splitter.bloodonthetracks wrote:3.9 / anticipating a 165-168

Re: Reverse-Splitters Unite! - The 2010 Reverse-Splitter Thread
LSAC GPA: 3.82
Oct. '08 LSAT = 158. Took PowerScore class for the 2nd time, PT tests in 162-165 range. Sept. '09 LSAT = 154 (same score as my diagnostic... devastated)
Have applied for the 2009-10 cycle, and have gone complete at almost all schools so far. I've taken a year off to apply/work FT, and I'm committed to attending law school in the fall (i.e. I don't want to take another year to study, prepare, etc.)
How do my reverse splitters feel about a third try on the Feb. LSAT?? is it worth the risk, stress, craziness??

I wouldn't worry...it would be odd if you didn't get into Santa Clara. Best of luck with your cycle!azukibeanlove wrote:Oh wow, I almost have the same stats as you - 3.89/158nickc8 wrote:3.89/157

Yeah it does. High GPA, low LSAT? (Well, "low" by TLS standards... if you're aiming for T14gatorlion wrote:A 3.9/165-168 does not qualify one as a reverse-splitter.bloodonthetracks wrote:3.9 / anticipating a 165-168
