Just got the app received email. Submitted 10/29.

Edit: Forgot to mention that they thanked me twice for my interest in NYU. Yes, TWICE. One thank you right after the other.

I'm not one to jump to any conclusions, but I'm pretty sure this means I can go ahead and making moving arrangements to NYC.

Anybody else get two separate "thank you for your interest" sentences ?

Didn't think so. It could only mean that I've been accepted. DOLLA DOLLA BILLZ, Y'ALL!

Did anyone else get an "application received" email on 10/27 but not a complete email? I applied on like 9/4.

Cracked me up too. They say "thanks again for your interest in NYU", then proceed to thank you yet again in the next paragraph.

I haven't... Even though I emailed, and they said I'm complete. Also haven't been admitted to Gtown or UT, even though people with lower scores have. :-( What did I do wrong?

Haha I felt the same way with the ED mail. It felt like I was making a deal with the Devil: if you let me in this school I promise to slave away for several years in corporate law since I'm not gonna get a damn penny.

Applied 9/3, got the complete email 11/3. Jeez, at least they have everything now. Underwhelming though.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?
