Still nothing received from across town. Think they'd give me my decision if I just drove over and said hello?

Re: IN at Lewis & Clark
Let me continue the complaining. My status checker changed to decision processed on the 12th. However, I have heard nothing just like everyone else (excluding icarter). Lewis and Clark is definitely a strong candidate for me, and getting accepted with even a little money would allow me to withdraw from at least one other school to which I have been accepted. Of course, being rejected would allow me to lower my top choices list.
It seems that every other school where the status checker changed notified me of the actual decision within a day or two.

ok calm down turbo, you don't need to show us your letter, just with everyone else not hearing anything it makes everybody feel better about themselves if your lying and that email is fake. so, everybody icarter just made up that email.

Haha, alright. I'm more than happy to play along if it makes other people feel better!

Re: IN at Lewis & Clark
OK! Good REAL News:
Meaning those of us living in OR and WA should probably hear back no later than Monday and other parts of the country maybe Wednesday at the latest? I don't know how fast the mail travels across country in huge batch mailings.Hi ME,
I thought we were sending them out last week, but we were held up because of not receiving some info about tuition and start date for next year. Letters should go out by Friday. Let me know if you don't get yours by the middle of next week and I apologize for the additional delay!

All of Portland would probably seem strangely unprofessional to someone coming from outside OR/WA. I'm at work right now (boutique international engineering firm) wearing a sweater and khakis. The attorneys I work with aren't wearing ties most days.

The emails seem more personal, than professional, that's all. But I think icarter knows someone well there or something.

Sorry for being intrusive... but would you be willing to share how much money they offered and what your numbers are? It would be good to have a reference point.

Bah... still stuck at "Application File Complete." It went complete on 1/2/09. I hope I'm in this first mailing.
While I'm here: What do you think are my chances with a 3.40, 158, strong environmental extracurriculars in college, strong rec letters from professors and my current boss at a leading environmental non-profit?
Damn you, L&C.

Re: IN at Lewis & Clark
Did anyone else here apply for the joint JD/LLM program in Environmental Law at L&C?
I wonder if those apps are going to take even longer to process...
If I get into that & and if I get decent $$, then L&C would definitely be one of my top choices. I have no idea how many people applied for it though. From those of you who use this blog, was it a popular option??

I applied just straight JD, but I'm very interested in that joint program. Do you know if you can add that or get into that during your first year?
