First ones usually seem to be late December I think?
I'm curious if this will change since the app came out later than usual? Obviously no way of knowing though...

I haven't gotten a confirmation email for submitting. I know that there is no status checker, but cannot recall if there is an email for app being received or complete. There probably ain't.

As for when they'll start releasing acceptances this year, we'll see. I was on an online webinar thingy with admissions and they said they'll likely release the first decisions during the second week of December.

According to their website they do email on completion of your file. And that's good news about admissions, was hoping it wouldn't be delayed!

I only voted for Trump presidency because I know that with my Yale skillz I shall then take him DOWN. So, the bigger picture is I am still doing it FOR AMERICA.

Just got an email saying I submitted to LSAC and they'll email me again when it's complete. Doesn't sound like it's received though.

Is there any benefit to submitting early?

As far as your chance of getting in Yale says there is no benefit for early submitters and I'm pretty sure I saw a blog post before of someone who broke down the statistics and showed there's no significant correlation between when you submit and whether or not you get in

Anyone else get an email from the admissions office that his/her application was complete at 4:30am last night?

Sat on a webinar with the Director of Admissions today, and he reinforced this. They look at the first app and the last app in exactly the same way.

I also feel like it's human nature to be slightly more favorable to the first awesome app you come across as versus the last, when you've been reading these damn things forever. But, IDK

More importantly, there is a vital new poll up. Rock the vote.

With regard to College/Post-College activities, does anyone know what sort of format they want? Like new essays, or like a more detailed resume split in two? I've been out of college for a few years now, so I've had a bunch of jobs, most of which don't need a paragraph written about them.

I did a short essay for post college and a list for the college ones since it literally says "list"

About how long does it take between when LSAC receives the application and when it goes complete for Yale. It's been about a week for me and nothing from them.
